In pain, not coping so well on certain days I don’t mind admitting – I have thrown myself into cardmaking to keep me sane… I have crafted with my little three year old who has had me giggling like crazy some days.. bless her dear heart… and believe me I have learned to count my blessings where I can.
And so onto my card to end this week with – done, rather aptly, in shades of grey. (I promise you brighter colours next week - lol.)
My base card is from Joanna Sheen – and is so perfect because she actually makes them a perfect 8 x 8 “ square (not the usual 7 3/4 “ as is usually the case!) Smiles.
My backing paper is from my SWALK Cd-Rom – I set my printer to greyscale before printing so that it matched my colour scheme. Smiles.
To bring Daydream Believer to life I used my Copics in the following shades:-
W9. 7. 5. 3. 1. 0. – That’s it! Smiles – I feel so very proud at what I have achieved here using so few colours.. :0)
The clouds in the background I did with a mask and my Copics in Cool Greys. (You do not want to know how long it took me.. Rofl.)
I have taken this angle to show the depth – where I curved my stamped image, before sticking her down with my Collal Glue.
This is the inside of the card – again done with my SWALK Cd-Rom – and printed in greyscale to match.
My ribbon is from Crafty Ribbons and my flowers are hand rolled.
The black flower is from my Black Core-Dinations (as is my frame) and the second flower is from the same printed papers from the Cd-Rom.
As it’s Sunday again already (I know just where does the time go?! Lol… ) It’s time for another wonderful Make It Monday challenge – where the theme is always Anything Goes.
And our sponsor this week is the wonderful Meljens – offering the winning commentor 4 single digis! :0)
Now how cool is that?!
Hugs n HaPPy Crafting Everyone!
